High-level Leadership Meeting on Addressing Inequalities
The consultation will culminate with a small, high-level meeting of key decision-makers in government, civil society and the UN. The purpose of this ‘Leadership Meeting’ is to review the final report and findings of the discussions and present a statement and recommendations on how to address inequalities in the post-2015 agenda. The 2-day meeting will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark from 18-19 February 2013.
The Public Dialogue Meeting on Day 1, 18 February will be livestreamed on the World We Want 2015 website at: www.worldwewant2015.org/inequalities. Online participants are invited to submit questions to the panel in advance using the Twitter hashtag #inequalities2015 at any time. Questions may also be submitted by email to email@example.com or via our Facebook page.
Panelists include speakers from Save the Children, Feminist Taskforce of the Global Call to Action Against Poverty, CAFOD, DAWN, African Child Poverty Forum, South Centre, Beyond 2015, Tanzania Gender Networking Programme, Social Watch, ODI, Amnesty International and the National Confederation of Dalit Organizations, as well as noted academics and UN agencies.
