Global Development after 2015: The Role of Foundations and Civil Society

Friday, 27 September 2013

8:30 am – 2:30 pm

Venue: Ford Foundation, 320 East 43rd Street, New York, NY 10017

2015 marks the deadline for achieving the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, a global effort to fulfill the rights of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people. It's time to look beyond that deadline. As the United Nations and world leaders plan the next generation of priorities, how can foundations, civil society and other stakeholders work together to help shape the collective vision that will guide the process and ensure meaningful change?

Please join the United Nations Development Programme, the Ford Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation, along with Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support, OECD netFWD and the European Foundation Centre, in a conversation on how civil society and foundations can influence the next global development agenda and spur coordinated action to advance new goals.
