Great list of resources but I would like to propose another - the Poor People's Energy Outlook report. This is an annual report, published by Practical Action with support from UNDP and GiZ, that focusses on poor people's experience of energy poverty and key related policy issues. the 2010 report looked at energy for the household, the 2012 report (with a forward from Kandeh Yumkella) reviewed energy for a living, and the 2013 report (due to be published in 2013) energy for community services.
